quem falou que cinema tem de ter só pipoca e refrigerante? Este final de semana Leticia e eu fomos a um cinema aqui em Austin (na verdade são quatro casas) onde se come (e bem) dentro do teatro. Uma mesinha na frente de cada fileira serve de apoio e o menu é o de um restaurante normal.
a maioria das pessoas chega um pouco mais cedo e existe um sistema de pedir por escrito depois que o filme começa. Garçons andam de um lado pro outro mas não atrapalham em nada a projeção, e o silêncio é até melhor que nas salas normais.
e cá entre nós, ver um bom filme na tela grande tomando Guiness não tem preço.
who said we can only eat popcorn in a movie theater? This weekend Leticia and I went to a theater here in Austin (there are actually 4) where you can eat, and well, inside the theater. There is a small table in front of the seats and the menu is like any other regular restaurant. Most people arrive early and there is a system to collect written orders once the movie starts. Waiters moving around do not disturb the projection and the silence is deeper than in a regular theater.
and by the way, to watch a movie on the big screen drinking Guiness is priceless

Eu vi um cinema assim em Buenos Aires, anos atrás. E, depois do filme, a parte de baixo do cinema virava uma danceteria...
